As we build our Engineering teams we require a Head of Agile to help build a world-class Engineering culture with a focus on agile values and delivery. You will manage a team of Agile Deliver Managers and TPMs to influence the culture and working practices of the Engineering organisation.

You will work to instil agile values, processes and an ethos of self-management. Working with cross-functional teams, you will create safe to fail environments focused on experimentation, metrics, learning and team effectiveness. You will have a focus on team health and happiness. You will be equally at home developing and coaching teams on new processes, facilitating agile events or coaching senior leadership.

You will keep abreast of agile developments and techniques, team effectiveness, change management and coaching. You will regularly inform and train Engineering teams as well as other areas of the business on agile processes. As the Head of Agile, you will influence culture and process whilst enabling our teams to build a world-class process and culture.

* Work with Engineering and Product management to design, implement and evangelise the Culture Trip development process
* Working closely with Product Management and Engineering Leadership to establish priorities and orchestrate cross-functional teams
* Enhance the visibility of progress across multiple squads, clarifying interdependencies and barriers to success
* Manage and coaching a team of Agile Delivery Managers and TPMs, collectively shaping what it means to be agile at Culture Trip
* Enable a focus on metrics for continuous improvement, within squads and across the programme
* Ensure a safe and open culture prevails that is driven by iteration and continuous improvement
* Strengthen the culture of open communication, feedback and collaboration
* Develop and deliver agile training and brown-bag sessions
* Improve collaboration across teams, sites and disciplines
* Strategise, establish and maintain a culture of experimentation that embodies autonomy and transparency, whilst continuously delivering customer value
* Work closely with the squads and ADMs/TPMs to ensure continuous improvement.

Desired Skills and Experience
* Extensive knowledge of delivery, agile and lean methods and project management.

* Demonstrated ability to strategise and drive organisational change through servant leadership.
* A wide range of training, development and coaching experience that includes mentoring
* Specific ability to identify, develop and coach teams to utilise analysis tools, methodologies and processes that are best suited to the needs of the organisation (Agile for Culture Trip)
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of an organisation
* Ability to coach individuals and teams, across all levels of the business
* High Emotional Quotient, with a growth mindset
* Hands-on facilitation experience of Agile events
* Using data to drive continuous improvement
* Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders
* Working with international, distributed teams
* Able to thrive in a high growth, fast changing environment
* Management of complex technical projects either as an engineering manager, project/program manager, or product manager
* Considerable experience as a PMO, Senior Lean programme manager, Six Sigma specialist, Senior ADM and Agile Delivery Lead would be beneficial
* Earlier experience as a software engineer is beneficial.
