The Role

We’re looking for a creative, tenacious and self-starting Video Producer to join our growing production team at Culture Trip. Based in our London office you will produce highly engaging videos for our website and social channels.

We're looking for someone who wants to tell amazing stories from around the world. You will conceptualise, research, pitch, produce and edit produce high quality films that inspire our audience to travel and learn about the world.

Your role will involve both remote production, briefing creative filmmakers in local locations to deliver local perspectives, and on-location, in-house productions.

Communicative and collaborative, you will have a strong sense of storytelling and good experience of delivering visually memorable productions. It’s important in this role that you have a strong appreciation of cultural subtleties, as we create films that span territories across the globe.

* Consistently produce films with an emphasis on storytelling, with a sense of place, personality and culture
* Ideate, brief and coordinate video shoots around the world
* Manage multiple creative assignments in a hands-on fashion during all stages of development, from idea through to post-production
* Responsible for delivering high quality and engaging video that supports Culture Trip’s mission, and within tight budgets
* Help find great new filmmakers in different locations around the world
* Produce episodes of ongoing and new series, plus pitch new series ideas
* Work closely with the Video Production Lead, Production Assistant and Video Editor(s) to make sure video output is achieved each month
* Help build our brand awareness

* A degree in film production (or relevant other qualification) and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
* Experienced in producing engaging videos
* Understanding of storytelling and what makes a relatable, shareable story
* Video background with remote production experience as well as on-location experience
* Proficiency with using Sony FS5 / A7s / DSLR-style cameras a plus
* Commercial branded content experience is a plus too
* You should be highly passionate about creating exciting, inspiring, and snackable films about cultures and experiences all around the world
* The ability to work at speed in a fast turnaround environment, without sacrificing quality of content
* Appreciation of global audience and subtlety of cultural differences across the world
* Be comfortable juggling multiple projects simultaneously
* Passion for culture, travel, food, art, lifestyle will come in handy
* You must be open to new ways of thinking and operating, always challenging yourself
* You need to be an enthusiastic and dynamic yet collaborative team player with a high degree of integrity and personal responsibility
