We are positioning ourselves as the leaders in the DevOps community, by enabling development teams to easily adopt automation into their workflows in order to streamline processes and increase repeatability. Our tool allows any developer to create and implement workflow automations or Ops, across their entire team via a command-line interface. This means any developer can contribute towards DevOps through a mix of custom-built and community-contributed workflow automation, regardless of their prior DevOps experience.

CTO.ai is headquartered in Vancouver BC, we are looking to grow our team in San Francisco and are open to having you work remotely or out of our co-working space!

About the Role:

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will work alongside the Sales Account Executive and CEO to help grow our business. You will qualify potential clients, explain complex technical matters, and demonstrate the CTO.ai platform, in addition to providing pre-sales engineering support and acting as an ongoing advisor to our clients.


What You’ll Do:

* Expand technical resources for sales enablement
* Work closely with clients to help solve their business challenges using our platform
* Partner with account executives as a technical resource during product demos, trials and the entire sales cycle
* Understand our ideal client’s technical needs
* Create reusable content to be used during sales cycles
* Identify and address technical issues to assure complete client satisfaction throughout all stages of the sales process

About You:

* You have a thorough technical background and experience working with sales teams as a technical resource
* Previous experience as a Technical Sales Engineer or Software Engineer at a fast-growing startup
* Exceptional communication skills
* Bonus Points:
** Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
** DevOps experience
** Experience in the B2B SaaS space
** University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related fields
