CTO.ai enables development teams to easily adopt automation into their workflows to streamline processes and increase repeatability. Our tool allows any developer to create and implement workflow automation, what we call Ops, across their entire team via a CLI. This means any developer can contribute towards DevOps through a mix of custom built and community contributed workflow automation, regardless of their prior DevOps experience.

Overview of the Role:
As a Developer Evangelist, you will lead conferences as our Brand Ambassador, run developer events, and hackathons for all areas related to the Developer community. You will build, scale and foster relationships with developers both online and offline. Additionally, you will deliver engaging technical content and feedback to internal teams to improve the developer experience.
You will partner with Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to craft and deliver outstanding content. As a Developer Evangelist, you'll be helping to lay the foundation in building and scaling our engineering community.

2019 Goals:
-Develop a content calendar for our blog and other channels. Write about product-related technology trends with the goal of engaging developers, developer managers, and technical leaders
-Develop an event roadmap based on company strategy and schedule speaking engagements to provide value through developing and delivering key messaging. Be the outward face of the company for meetups, technology conferences, and webinars
-Develop key relationships with industry thought leaders and company gatekeepers
-Create buzz and sustained momentum to drive user adoption of our product
-Bridge gaps between Engineering, Product, and Marketing/Sales
-Identify leads for potential partnerships and clients by assisting with presales support

About You:
-You've got some experience working in a startup or small technical business
-You're not afraid to get your hands dirty
-You have an insatiable desire to learn and improve the work you do
-You don't depend on formal education to teach you what you need to know
-You like to work hard but appreciate that working smart is more important
-You able to converse with a broad range of programming language communities (Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, Ruby, etc.)
-You cannot walk away from a problem until you have solved it
-You actively participate and make visible contributions within dev/communities
-You demonstrate technical writing skills via blog posts and contributed articles
-You keep up development skills - comparable with peers who write code full time
-You are proactive - seize opportunities by getting out and networking with people
-You inspire developers by effectively presenting experiences in meetups, etc
-You are approachable while staying productive and professional when on the road
-You are entrepreneurial by taking initiatives based on mainly high-level direction
-You educate developers by conducting technical workshops and hackathons, speaking in local/remote meetups, user group meetings, developer conferences and webinars
-You support developers in online venues, such as discussion forums, social media, etc
-You build partnerships with individuals/influencers, companies and organizations that serve related developer communities
