Crusoe is on a mission to help the oil industry eliminate routine flaring of natural gas and reduce the cost of cloud computing and cryptocurrency mining. We build and operate mobile data centers that are deployed into the oil field and powered by natural gas generators that consume gas directly off the well head.
The Project Engineer will be responsible for designing , procuring, and installing rotating and electrical equipment for company at field locations throughout the United States and possibly internationally. Rotating equipment includes both reciprocating and turbine gas fired generators. Electrical equipment includes transformers, high voltage wiring, and computing.
The Project Engineer with be the primary contact of vendors and customers related to deployments so excellent verbal and written communication skills are important. Travel to the field of up to 60% is required. Candidates much be in good physical condition and be able to work in outdoor environments with temperatures ranging from -20 F to 105 F.
B.S. in an engineering discipline
3+ years operational experience in the oil and gas industry
Ability to travel
Valid US drivers license
Must be legally able to work in the US without company sponsorship
