Crozdesk.com runs software marketplaces and comparison sites helping businesses globally decide on which software solutions to use. From CRM to Accounting and Marketing to Supply Chain Management - we cover 100s of categories and compare almost everything! Our vendor solutions portal helps thousands of software companies connect with their ideal customers - which will be the focus of a new BD team we're building.

We have a small and dynamic team that's distributed globally with our main office base in Shoreditch, London - which is where you will be located as an inside BD Associate.

THE ROLE
We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented business developer, who will flourish in our hands-on startup environment. We value smarts and a go-getting attitude over experience, but some knowledge of the business software market and B2B sales would be ideal. This role is right for you, if you are looking to learn and grow as part of a dynamic team that always tries to find the smartest solution to each problem.
You will work with software companies across 100s of industries globally, will learn how to help our clients increase business, how to become a productivity machine and generate quality software sales pipeline that converts. With the right mindset, you will make your mark in this role and will rapidly be able to increase your responsibilities and share in the success of our business.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- End-to-end sales pipeline management
- Close enterprise deals and become an industry expert in B2B software lead generation
- Actively on-board new clients, build and manage customer relationships
- Meet sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction

On a daily basis you will:

- Schedule and conduct consultative calls with software vendors
- Create engaging and attractive customer success stories by building and fostering long-term relationships via email, video chat and calls
- Manage our CRM, follow-up on deals and re-engage prospects
- Optimise existing sales efforts and our operational strategy with an analytical view on how to make the most out of data
- Work alongside CEO, CTO, COO and other colleagues to coordinate efforts to minimise manual work along the sales pipeline and improve sales conversions
- Help out other team members when needed to make sure all operations are running smoothly

REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of sales experience (experienced candidates can be considered for more senior roles)
- A keen understanding of the SaaS or software market
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to foster and grow client relationships
- Experience working with CRMs, planning and implementing sales strategies and dealing with B2B clients
- Experience working with large datasets (Excel, Google Sheets, etc)
- Experience within a B2B environment and/or startup
- A Bachelor's degree or above with a demonstrable interest in business, technology, statistics or analytics (ideally)
- Good technical acumen (bonus)

Crozdesk offers competitive base salaries, commissions (uncapped), stock options and pension benefits - all of which will scale with the impact you have on our business. Your salary will depend on your level of experience and overall skillset:

Base Salary: £25K – £40K OTE: £50K – £80K

Our recruitment process comprises of four stages: CV screening shortlist, telephone call, optional work sample, face-to-face meeting, optional followup, if everything goes well.
