QA Lead

JOB PURPOSE: Software Engineer QA-Lead with expertise in creating Detailed Test Plans, Analyze Functional Requirements, Quality Control, Software Test Automation on Selenium
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Take a product through the entire lifecycle of Analysis, Testing, Quality Assurance, System Integration Testing and Support
• Experience with Testing of REST API using advanced REST client, Regression Testing, and various other aspects of Testing
• Experienced with writing Detailed Test Plans, Analyze Functional Requirements, Writing/Review Manual Test Scripts, Mining test data & Execute manual test scripts
• Experience with testing on mobile apps
• Perform Functional/Black box testing, SQL queries, Data Analysis, Performance Testing, Load Testing
• Should be able to go through requirement documents & develop good understanding /find gaps
• Should be able to create/update test cases/script, based on the understanding of requirement
• Follow best QA practices/design techniques for creating/updating test cases
• Using Bug tracking, Project Tracking (VSTS/JIRA) and SVN software. Should be able to produce various reports/metrics
• Working closely with internal team to understand and formulate solutions to client needs, and interacting closely with external teams of developers
• Should be capable of identifying automation opportunities, evaluate the ROI and work with Automation team to automate the applications end to end.
