Play a pivotal role in transforming how homes are designed and built. You will develop solutions for a wide variety of problems in regulatory, home-automation, manufacturing, and other spaces. This role is highly collaborative and will require fruitful partnerships with our mechanical engineering and regulatory teams.
Develop solutions for automating traditionally manual elements of the home-building process.
Analyze and solve combinatorial problems related to our building system.
Build the infrastructure for testing, monitoring, and improving home automation systems.
Work with large geospatial datasets to analyze the impact of proposed new housing regulations.
Work with our regulatory and mechanical engineering teams to systematize and implement feasibility analyses of different projects at the design stage.
5+ years solving a diverse array of problems at top software organizations.
Proven track record of defining, formulating, and delivering technical solutions from non-technical requirements.
Demonstrated highly effective cross-team collaboration in the past.
Has worked close to the metal and loves it.
Devops + web application development experience is also preferred.
BS/MS in computer science or related field preferred.
Outstanding Python proficiency.
Language agnostic attitude toward development.
Strong ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent computer science fundamentals.
Can produce working code quickly without sacrificing quality.
