Job Title: property acquisition manager

Start Date: March 2019

Reports To: Guillaume Castagne, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer

Location: Tanjong Pagar, Singapore

Role Purpose: To build Cove’s supply of properties

Core Responsibilities:

Prequalification: Build Cove’s top of funnel for new properties, using efficient prospecting process
Outreach: Give calls or send emails to all prequalified opportunities and introduce them to Cove model. Collect initial info about the property and schedule a viewing / property evaluation.
Collaboration: Assess properties and make sure all information is property collected. Get feedback for management and use financial model to evaluate property economics. Decide whether to go ahead and draw the appropriate steps and conditions for on-boarding new properties.
Communication: Follow up with potential partners after property evaluation and proceed based on the appropriate steps and conditions necessary for on-boarding. Present offers and terms to partners for deals. Manage a negotiation process with partners taking into account specific conditions. Submit contracts and close deals.
Experience and Qualifications Required:


Experience working in real estate business and / or real estate agent industry in Singapore and Southeast Asia, especially in residential
Experience in sales / commercial role
Sufficient knowledge of laws governing estate agency work and how they relate to practice, especially in Singapore

Strong network / knowledge of large property owners and corporate landlords
Experience as a sales or commercial executive for a marketplace
KEO licence in Singapore
