We are looking for a hardworking, organized, and thorough team member to help with a variety of client success and internal operations work. This position will involve close collaboration with Countable team members cross departmentally, and have a host of templates to work from. There is opportunity for creativity and improvement, but attention to detail is mandatory. We are looking for someone with a passion for government, media, political campaigns, and civic technology. Your work will be three-fold:

Client Success Support: Supporting our client success team to help meet every client obligation. This includes, but is not limited to, creating Action Center mocks, onboarding documentation, regular content for partners, and analytics reports for our clients (political campaigns, public affairs firms, candidate campaigns, media outlets, and corporate social responsibility teams). This is critical to lending our clients both the insight and content necessary to optimize their campaigns. Comfort / willingness working directly with clients is a plus.

Lead Generation Campaigns. Supporting our client success team by running lead generation campaigns, on behalf of clients, across the Countable and Causes platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, authoring client petitions and articles, identifying target audience segmentations, coordinating audience outreach, and systematizing our processes.

Reporting, Metrics, & Optimization. Managing supporter lists and creating client-facing reports that present the success of our lead generation campaigns to clients. This also entails manual reporting and metrics tracking on a daily basis. Taken together, these are critical to lending our clients the insights necessary to further optimize their campaigns. Comfort / willingness working directly with clients is a plus.

This role will also entail significant opportunity to grow, take the initiative, and try new things across the different verticals outlined above.


We are hiring for a part-time or full-time, contract-to-hire role. The position is based in our San Francisco office, and daily attendance is mandatory. Compensation will range from $20/hour - $25/hour pending prior experience. Our ideal start date is as soon as possible.


Working with client success team to make sure that implementations are successful
Preparing onboarding and client-facing documentation
Authoring petitions, email outreach, and issue-specific content for our clients
Identifying target audience cohorts and facilitating direct outreach via email campaigns
Owning reporting, metrics tracking, and lead generation list upkeep on a daily basis
Preparing regular performance, analytics, and optimization reports for our clients
Evaluating performance data and suggesting / executing on campaign optimizations
Helping us meet every client obligation


Managing and optimizing our enterprise newsletters
Maintaining and updating internal documentation / records of campaign activity
Reviewing community contributions (posts, comments, videos) for featuring
Helping prepare / send monthly invoices


Experimenting with and leading the development of a robust lead generation program
Gaining experience with client interaction and account management
Designing and implementing A/B tests to continuously optimize campaigns
Researching and implementing industry best practices
Working on the development of a product marketing strategy
Experimenting with and leading user-growth and development initiatives


Able to work from our San Francisco office
Digitally literate / savvy
Practiced and detailed writer
Great communication skills
Savvy with data and analytics
Experience with politics / campaigns
Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, & Keynote
Experience with G Suite (especially Google Slides, Docs, & Sheets)
Familiarity with customer support tools (e.g. Groove) is a plus
