CopperHill Consulting is a fast growing Software as a Service (SaaS) consulting firm specializing in cloud-based solutions. The founders managed to hit upon a great idea at just the right time and now they’re reaping the rewards. Two years ago, we had four employees and zero customers. Only a year and a half later, the company merged a firm, hired nine employees and has over 100 customers.

Our Senior Consultant is a Solution Architect in training. For a year you’ll help our client’s success in implementing sophisticated business solutions using all aspects of Salesforce as well as Business Intelligence/Analytics working with our data architects in addressing their information needs. The position has autonomy in helping to deliver amazing amounts of work products.

Our Senior Consultants work directly with our customers and take the lead on smaller to mid-size engagements, completing and/or coordinating all of the activities needed to successfully complete the work. On larger engagements, you will work as a team member to complete components of an overall project providing input and assistance to other team members as needed. Compared to larger firms our consultants travel on average about 10-15% and much of that isn’t overnight, being able to deliver amazing work product remotely is paramount to our success.

We have key partnerships with Salesforce.com, Amazon Web Services, Vlocity and New Voice Media and are seeking motivated, client-facing Senior Consultants to join our practice. Experience implementing salesforce.com will be a core requirement of this position, but our ideal candidate will bring broader consulting skills with a business solution focus.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Understand the problems our firm solves and where these can be practically applied in customer environments
• Act as project manager and lead consultant on small to mid-size projects creating and communicating plans, activities, issues and risks both internally and to the customer. Anticipate issues and work to set expectations for the customer.
• Provide overall salesforce solution requirements and design expertise in order to identify and communicate the best options for the customer. Understanding of Salesforce configuration capabilities/limits and where custom development needs to play a role is important.
• Identify business reporting needs and where a data warehousing, integration or BI solution brings business value.
• Work directly with developers to ensure solution meets the needs of the customer and applicable technical options are considered.
• Complete tasks required to configure and setup salesforce to support customer solution.
• Complete data migration activities to load data into Salesforce
• Install and setup AppExchange products to support solution.
• Coordinate and participate in QA and User Acceptance testing activities.
• Coordinate and participate in development and execution of end-user training.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• 3+ years of overall experience implementing and leading salesforce projects working directly with customers.
• Provide analysis, design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Salesforce for our customers.
• Solid experience in concepts, terminology and processes around CRM including lead and customer management, opportunity management, quoting and document management, and reporting.
• Comfortable in taking the lead in developing the functional specification, process diagrams, configuration specifications, use cases, test management and training documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to facilitate customer meetings.
• Experience with data migrations and database concepts
• Familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange and a cross-section of products
• Self-motivated, organized and a team player
• 10%-20% travel to client locations mostly for Solution Design Workshops, customer reviews, training and deployment activities.
