What we are looking for:
We're looking for an experienced, high-energy Account Executive to join our US-based team, hunting into mid-tier and enterprise accounts and lead the growth of new logo acquisitions. Our Account Executives work closely with prospective clients to position Conversocial to best solve their customer experience challenges and see the future in messaging. Your ability to clearly and enthusiastically articulate our value proposition and demonstrate our solution at a high-level will be the key to success. Having a technical interest and acumen is also pivotal for you to embrace the product suite and solution with your prospect on potential opportunities to attack their immediate and long term challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Grow and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities through inbound and outbound efforts
  • Partner daily with the broader commercial team (professional services, product management, product marketing, etc.) to close and support strategic opportunities. We pride ourselves on our cross-functional sales culture.
  • Think critically about sales insights and data and experiment with new growth tactics
  • Define the client experience by building durable relationships, inspiring trust, and proposing innovative solutions to their problems.
  • Provide thought leadership to clients as well as internally mentor and offer professional insights to junior team members.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of quota carrying sales roles; experience in enterprise SaaS software
  • Experience managing sales cycle from business champion to the CXO level, with expertise in call center, customer care and/or enterprise social business ideal
  • Highly collaborative and team-oriented, entrepreneurial and self-directed with a passion to succeed
  • Intrinsically driven and able to thrive with the resources available in a start-up environment
  • A sophisticated commercial sense and understanding of underlying drivers and strategy of our user’s businesses
  • Strong understanding of the sales process from prospecting to close. You’re no stranger to managing multiple complex deals across multiple clients and stages and you don't need a full team of people and documentation handed to you to get started
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and pattern recognition, you manage your time well and possess expert judgment and decision-making skills.
  • You know your way around Salesforce (or comparable CRM system) and understand the importance of leveraging data to make smart decisions about where to spend your time.
