Senior Manager, Strategy & Planning - San Francisco

As Compass continues to experience massive growth, we are looking for the best and brightest to drive strategic business decisions. As Senior Manager, Strategy and Planning, you will report directly to the Head of Operations and will work closely with our Regional Presidents and Functional teams at headquarters to provide strategic and execution support to senior management in our West regions, including designing operational strategies, developing a data based view of the business, identifying and executing high impact business priorities, and other key regional projects.

At Compass You Will:

* Establish a deep understanding of the business and leverage data to build insights about our markets, products and competitors
* Contribute to profitability by providing senior leadership with the visibility and insights necessary to effectively manage the regional P&L
* Developing reporting tools and provide financial partnership to sales managers and regional presidents, e.g., provide sales managers and regional leadership with visibility into agent terms
* Design and track the regional staffing models
* Analyze and help manage office utilization and other regional operational policies  
* Manage and support contract negotiations, budgeting for regional offices and vendor management
* Develop and monitor in-depth market share model for region

What We’re Looking For:

* Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience
* Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
* Ability to develop strong relationships with senior management, communicate effectively in meetings and describe deliverables and project milestones
* Must possess excellent analytical, financial modeling and presentation skills with the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations for senior management and other stakeholders
* Positive attitude and solutions-oriented approach. Ability and desire to be hands on in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
* Humble team player who understands the importance of the role as a key support partner to the operating team
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Systems aptitude and process mapping skills strongly preferred
* Strong Excel modeling skills
* Proactive individual seeking additional responsibility at all times
* Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines
