We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and driven Business Analyst to join our fast-paced and rapidly expanding Finance organization. You will play a critical role in configuring our financial systems and designing our business processes to help us scale efficiently. Our ideal candidate enjoys developing a deep understanding of business processes and operating models, and can figure out how to map those to technical solutions. You will document requirements and implement changes to our financial systems. You should be a self-directed problem solver and be able to adjust to a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.

At Compass You Will:

* Develop an understanding of our strategic vision and business priorities
* Collaborate with Finance and Accounting, Product and Engineering to define detailed business requirements and configure our financial systems to meet those requirements
* Participate in major cross-functional efforts, such as product launches and strategic planning, that pull together team members from departments including Strategic Growth, Agent Operations, Marketing, Finance, Product and Engineering
* Work with cross-organizational stakeholders to promote adoption of the processes and technologies to ensure quality, accuracy and usability of our financial systems
* Assists in formulating and defining project and systems scope and objectives
* Assist in performing data validation and reconciliation to ensure completeness and accuracy of data and reporting
* Ensure system readiness and availability through close, budget, and forecast cycles
* Assist in developing business processes, documentation and training materials
* Provide end-user training and support, including onboarding new users

What We Are Looking For:

* Experience configuring business requirements in ERP applications
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or Computer Science
* Strong knowledge of office applications including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
* Basic knowledge in generating process documentation
* Familiar with GAAP accounting, handling sensitive data, and SOX compliance
* Experience with business intelligence tools and an intermediate knowledge of SQL
* Experience with the following systems is preferred: NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, Concur, Coupa, SalesForce, and Tableau
* Strong communication and organizational skills, and impeccable attention to detail
* Self-starter, positive attitude, zero ego, and ability to problem-solve with minimal supervision
* Team player with strong analytical and project management skills 
* Ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks within an open and interactive environment
* Exceptional organization techniques
* Proactive, always seeking additional responsibility
* Demonstrated ability to improve processes and procedures
