Colonii is seeking a Marketing Manager to work side by side with our CEO. Critical focus for this role is to lead & develop consumer marketing, for continued growth. A strong background in development and execution of consumer promotion programs is a must have. The successful candidate will be a strategic innovator with a history of helping scale early stage companies. In partnership with the CEO, develop and execute an appropriate plan to develop objectives, strategies, and budget recommendations for both the annual Consumer Promotions marketing plan and promotional plans for individual launch campaigns of Colonii’s e-commerce platform. Strong collaboration abilities, and the requisite skills necessary to implement best practices for the day-to-day efficient deployment of marketing resources to optimize Return on Marketing Investments for all software, hardware, and accessories, including Digital Products and Services.
Core Responsibilities
• Leads, develops & executes consumer marketing, event marketing, public relations, social media, experiential marketing, consumer promotions and website strategies for America & Canada.
• Leads Colonii’s marketing campaign development from strategy definition, to cross-functional plan alignment, review, and post-campaign effectiveness analysis.
• Responsible for the day-to-day efficient deployment of marketing resources to optimize Return on Marketing Investments for all software, hardware, and accessories, including Digital Products and Services in America & Canada.
• Actively involved across all functions (Marketing, Sales, Merchandising, Demand Planning, etc.)
• Responsible for developing, monitoring & communicating the product & campaign marketing calendars.
• Manages media expenses and mediums (including traditional and new media) to ensure efficient & effective spend & attainment of results.
• Responsible for selection & oversight of agencies for advertising, promotions & for PR.
• Supervises media planning and buying, monitoring expenses and return on investment.
• Responsible for all creative production & localization (whether localizing or producing original content).
• Develops objectives, strategies, and budget recommendations for both the annual Consumer Promotions marketing plan and promotional plans for individual launch campaigns.
• Oversees the development and execution of consumer promotion programs including but not limited to:
o Experiential events: live branded experiences, sampling programs, and other efforts to drive direct interactions between consumers and Colonii products.
o Partnerships: joint promotional programs between Colonii and select brand partners.
• Manages web activities, including Colonii.com updates, marketing campaign websites, content management, and content localization.
• Develops relationships with key video game and consumer media
o Edits written materials, including PR plans and press releases.
• Captures learning’s from the US & other markets.
• Responsible for campaign planning & execution for new product launches encompassing consumer marketing, mass media advertising, strategic media planning, consumer promotions, PR tactics, digital, search engine marketing, mobile and coordination with retail activities.
• Seeks opportunities for strategic experimentation in oversees test initiatives across functions.
• Develops consumer promotions and identifies external promotion partners.
• Establishes new procedures & identifies opportunities for process improvement.
• Directs consumer event marketing efforts, sponsorships, and sampling programs.
• Track, measure, and report on campaign performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis using Excel and Google Analytics..
• Assist with general online marketing initiatives, which could include SEO, email marketing, and promotions.

Qualifications:
• 3 to 5 years of related sales experience
• Prior account management experience preferred
• Strong background in consumer goods marketing, ideally in brand management
• Experience in a sales & marketing environment
• PC spreadsheet, word processing and presentation skills
• Experience in a sales/merchandising/marketing environment
• Familiarity with American & Canadian markets preferred (business, customs, markets)
• Bilingual skills in English-Spanish preferred
• Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, a related field, or equivalent
• BA degree or equivalent
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under stress
• Can establish and articulate a vision, set goals, develops and executes strategies, and track as well as measure the results
• Online marketing interest, and preferably experience, in consumer-focused websites
