But the current options of consultants are expensive and slow, and searching the web for answers immediately becomes a major project. CognitionX has already become a global leader in Knowledge Management. Once a year, CognitionX hosts the global CogX festival in London. CogX is one of the largest technology festivals in Europe, with over 20,000 visitors, 680 speakers and 69 hectares of space in King’s Cross in 2019. The festival explores the impact of emerging technology on Industry, Government and Society, truly moving the conversation forward.

In 2020 CogX will return to King’s Cross from Monday 8th - Wednesday the 10th June 2020.

Job Purpose:
The role is to lead Partnerships with direct responsibility for outcomes

Strategic leadership, direction and development of the CogX brand. Working collaboratively with the Marketing Director, Operations Director, Sales and wider team to develop an integrated approach to Partners world-wide

Key responsibilities:
* Initiate, develop and nurture meaningful relationships with new key stakeholder groups at CXO, Board and Partner level whilst maintaining circa 100 existing groups including Project Everyone, Alan Turing Institute, Crick Institute, NHS, Wellcome Trust, London & Partners, DIT, Central Gov, One Young World, BBC, DLD, Gates Foundation, Digital Catapult, Founders Forum, Google, Tech Nation, Royal Society and many more .
* Drive the Partnerships strategy through identification, development, proposal delivery, curation and execution.
* Through Ambassadorial networking establish contra and commercial partnerships with appropriate charities and companies; co-hosting events and content to drive brand awareness and client acquisition.
* Act as custodian of the CogX brand ensuring all events and content are aligned with quality assured.
* Work collaboratively across all functions, adopt flexible matrix managerial behaviours to ensure quality outcomes for all stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:
* Senior level commercial Partnership experience in the technology event ecosystem
* Strong intellect, curious nature, proven CXO networking ability with a passion for quality execution of objectives
* Experience of leading Partnerships in a matrix structure
* International mind set with an appreciation of cultural differences
* Ability to think strategically or laterally to deliver excellent results operationally with an eye for detail
* Strong interest in AI/Emerging Technology and both its business and social impact
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
* Strong budget management and business management skills
* Collaborative, with the ability to work in a matrix management environment
* Pragmatic approach with the ability to form relationships easily and use influence to get things done
* Robust ability and flexibility to travel when needed
