The free, public version of our Knowledge Network empowers users to immediately access a global network of experts in Emerging Tech, AI and more, while the Enterprise edition enables large firms to capitalise on their internal expertise.

CogX is our annual Festival of All things AI, and has become the largest AI festival in Europe, with over 20,000 attendees and 600+ speakers.

We are now looking for a passionate, creative and successful Sales Associate to join our team and help to build the leading AI event globally, CogX.

The Event:

- 600+ Speakers
- Over 12 stages covering AI and Emerging Tech on Government, Industry, and Society
- Agenda aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals

The Role:

- Drive new business, as well as close existing leads across enterprise, SMEs, public sector and tech vendors to help create CogX, the leading AI event in Europe
- Work closely with the sales team to pitch a variety of sponsorship and exhibition stand packages and converting prospects into leads
- Consistently meet targets and revenue goals, keeping an organised pipeline and forecast
- Respond to all inbound enquiries, as well inbound leads into CogX to distribute to appropriate members of the team
- Drive a culture of data-driven decision making, working with insights and knowledge from our platform to create the best solutions for our clients
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure cohesion across messaging and the event
- Schedule up meetings/calls for the sales team
- Identifying key sectors to sell into and new outreach channels
- Handling inbound communications (email, live chat. telephone journey)

You:

- You have proven success in a sales role, preferably within the events industry
- You have proven success working with enterprise clients, SMEs, startups on both buy-side and sell-side
- You are passionate about technology, excited about the future of artificial intelligence and able to engage in detailed conversations on the topic
- You have the confidence and emotional intelligence to be able to speak to multiple different stakeholders of varying seniority
- You are detail-oriented and able to create persuasive and engaging sales materials
- You have excellent prioritisation skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once
- You are energetic, passionate and a strong communicator
- You may have startup experience and thrive on the fast-paced environment of a growing company
- A fast learner with a great entrepreneurial spirit for new ideas
- Self-starter and will-do attitude to get things done
