What the position entails

CLI Studios is looking for a Human Resources Director to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. As part of the management team you will help CLI Studios drive the growth of our online learning program by building a world-class team, driving and enhancing our culture, and developing key Human Resources capabilities. Here are some of the activities you will be responsible for:
- Driving and enhancing company culture through employee engagement programs
- Developing and maintaining company salary and benefits programs
- Managing the company recruitment, selection, and onboarding process
- Developing, revising, and recommending personnel policies and procedures
- Designing and implementing Human Resources processes and systems
- Working with functional and business managers to administer regular performance management and evaluation processes
- Working with functional and business managers to design and implement learning and development solutions
What you need to be successful

At CLI Studios we’re looking for driven, curious, passionate, and hard-working people who have a love for dance. Here are the specific experiences, skills, and traits that we think will help you be successful in the Human Resources Director role:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or an equivalent subject
- Five or more years’ experience in Human Resources
- Experience working across all Human Resource competencies
- Five or more years’ experience working with early stage technology startups
- Experience with California labor codes and policy requirements
- Experience with implementing Human Resource information systems
- Experience with talent sourcing, management, and development
- Knowledge about and passion for arts and arts education (theatre, dance, music, or visual and fine arts)
