Mission: Our mission at Chufly Imports is to carve out a niche for Bolivian wine and Singani on every inventive wine list and every serious cocktail menu in America which will allow us to lift 500 families out of poverty.

We are a fast-growing, social-impact wine and spirits startup seeking a seasoned sales executive to help us change the U.S. industry's buying paradigm. The executive will play a pivotal role in developing a successful sales strategy for our eclectic portfolio of impact wine and spirit brands, including hiring and managing a national sales team. The executive will also help develop and select new brands and products for our growing portfolio. Ultimately, the executive will play a fundamental role in our company's mission of lifting families out of poverty by establishing a market for premium wine and spirits from developing countries. We are offering a highly competitive compensation package with an opportunity for equity in the business.

The Company: Our core mission is to lift 500 families out of poverty by establishing a durable market for impact wines and spirits. We enjoy long-term exclusivity contracts with incredible suppliers who share our values and mission. Our rapidly growing portfolio will grow from eight to nearly 50 products in less than two years, which are distributed in about a dozen states. We are fortunate to enjoy some strong winds at our back with recent features in the NY Times and Washington Post. This coupled with a paradigm-busting business model and our borderline fanatical drive to make a lasting impact in the world through booze have opened a brief window of opportunity for us. We hope to find the right partners to help us make this dream a reality.

Qualifications:
10 - 20 years of sales experience in the wine and spirits industry
3+ years of experience managing a sales team
Strong relationships with important wine and spirits buyers
Currently active sales with national and regional accounts
Ability to quickly place our portfolio into key accounts
Desire to play a leadership role in growing a startup into an industry-changing trailblazer
Valued attributes: kind soul, entrepreneurial spirit, team player, mission-driven, self-starter, traveler (domestic and international)
Preference for Los Angeles-based candidates, but open to anyone living in a major wine and spirits market

Responsibilities:
Manage a national sales team, including frequent trips to different U.S. markets
Deliver sales in Homebase market
Implement a robust CRM software and system
Recommend sales team compensation packages, including bonus structures, expenses, travel budget, etc
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other public events
Provide frank, thoughtful, experience-based input to the overall development and direction of the company
A key contributor to developing a national sales strategy
A key contributor to recruiting and hiring a national sales team
A key contributor to selecting new products for our portfolio, including making regular visits to developing world wine regions
A key contributor to developing new, proprietary brands
A key contributor to branding, marketing, and other consumer-oriented decisions

Compensation:
