Chicory is seeking an experienced Office and Culture Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a smart, passionate, organized individual with a warm and welcoming presence. Our Office and Culture Manager will be responsible for ensuring that office operations run smoothly and efficiently. They will also be tasked with making sure that all employees are supported, promoting and building upon our awesome culture with in-office events, celebrations and other team engagements. We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves problem-solving, and is eager to share ideas for improving company culture.

–Be the point of contact for office vendors and coordinate all office services: i.e. coffee, cleaning services, plant maintenance, etc.
–Contract, negotiate with, and oversee external vendors
–Manage and maintain office inventory, conference room reservations, kitchen cleanliness and stock, bathroom supply refills, and consistent upkeep of other office amenities such as the dishwasher, coffee machine, etc.
–Take pride in the appearance of the office and ensure that the office is kept clean, tidy, and organized
–Ensure our office meets government regulations and environmental, health, and security standards
–Open the office every morning and ensure that everything is in order prior to team arrival
–Welcome visitors to the office and make sure the person they are meeting is informed of their visitor’s arrival
–Route mail, packages, and deliveries
–Respond to day-to-day office issues (coffee machine broke, we need a new one!) and employee requests (can we refill our stash of teas?)
–Keep a pulse-check on office culture and partner with team members cross-functionally to creatively brainstorm and manage the planning of various employee experience events such as an annual holiday party, happy hours, retreats, company offsites, etc.
–Coordinate the purchasing and delivery of employee gifts (new hires, birthdays, Chicoversaries, weddings, get well soon, etc.) and company-branded swag
–Assist with onboarding process for new hires, including setting up their workspaces, ordering necessary equipment and scheduling welcome activities and other related meetings
–Work alongside Executive Assistant to the CEO to oversee office policies
–Provide backup for the Executive Assistant to the CEO as needed
Your Background and Capabilities
–1+ years of experience in administrative or office management
–Knowledge of clerical and administrative management practices and procedures
–Strong organization, communication, planning, and time management skills
–Excellent written and verbal communication skills
–Ability to adapt, multitask, problem solve, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
–Creative individual who will champion Chicory’s culture
–Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite
