Chargelab is a turnkey software solution for electric vehicle chargers. Simply put, we make EV charger SMART. Property managers, real estate asset owners, condo boards etc., all require their electric vehicle chargers to allow for payment, billing, energy management and more. Hydro One, amongst other electric utilities, require the data from these chargers in order to make decisions for the future. These are our customers.



Yes, we are a tech start up. But, unlike most start ups, we have worked in high-end sales positions over the past 8 years which puts us in the 1% of businesses who have both developer and sales insights.



Over the past six months, we have gained massive traction in a zero billion dollar industry. We are seeking high-energy, driven individuals to join our team. As a business development representative, this role is the first point of contact our potential customers have with our sales team. You are responsible for driving revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads. The ideal candidate will have experience generating leads or selling technology-based solutions. Primary Responsibilities

-Prospecting of potential clients in the real estate environment

-Cold call prospect list to gain traction with specific key players in the industry

-Drive new business growth through qualifying leads from marketing generated sources (webinars, trials, quote/demo requests) primarily through telephone and email communication

-Nurture all leads through to qualification for inside sales team

-Create a great first impression to our prospects and customers by providing them with a world class experience

-Identify customer needs to determine if our solutions would be a good fit

-Manage multiple lead sources, including incoming calls, emails, chats and referrals at a given time

-Manage existing customer database using Pipedrive, to ensure all communications are logged and identified

-Work with the founders to develop new strategies to grow sales pipeline, and consistently meet monthly, quarterly and annual goals

-Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management



Requirements

-1 year of sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably in a solution-sales / technology-related environment not required

-Bachelor's degree strongly preferred

-Strong desire to be in technology sales, and a strong technical aptitude

-Excellent customer service and telephone skills, including strong listening, verbal and written communication

-Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets

-Ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic and quota-driven environment

-Fluency in English

-Ability to multi-task effectively

-Knowledge of Mac OS X and iOS
