Job Overview

The Sales Integration Engineer works in conjunction with the sales and customer success teams as the key technical advisor and product advocate. A successful Sales Integration Engineer must be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Additionally, the Sales Integration Engineer must be able to provide advice and guidance to customers after the sale to aid integration efforts and new customer launch process. A fundamental understanding of web applications and core concepts of API use are essential.


● Serve as a product expert to the sales team and technical lead on major sales opportunities
● Instrumental in full sales cycle including discovery, opportunity evaluation, proof of concept support, opportunity closure, and launch
● Support the sales and customer success teams with client meetings and presentations
● Work with prospects and customers to devise solutions to complex customer requirements
● Support sales and marketing teams in production of high quality sales proposals and supporting assets
● Master the Cerkl API with complete knowledge of the architecture implemented and best practice recommendations.
● Provide technical direction and support to customers' development teams during their development and QA cycles both remotely and on-site
● Document and submit API feature requests based on customer requirements.
● Develop and improve processes, procedures and tools used in the support of customer integration projects.

What You Bring to Cerkl

● Working knowledge of web applications and their architecture and design
● Fundamental understanding of RESTful APIs and experience using them
● Experience working with JavaScript, PHP, HTML, and CSS
● Excellent oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills
● Strategic thinking, problem solving, and decision making capabilities
● Strong entrepreneurial skills to excel in a complex and rapidly evolving environment
● Willingness to travel, as job requires (Estimated 25%)
