Position Summary

Care+Wear is looking for a Social Media Rockstar to provide strong leadership and vision, owning both the strategy and execution of sharing Care+Wear’s message of improving patient experiences with innovative healthwear. An ideal candidate will bring a breadth of experience in social media, preferably in the consumer or wellness spaces. The candidate will be capable of executing initiatives that will contribute to raising Care+Wear’s brand awareness, playing a key role in creating a consistent brand position, voice and image. Ideally the candidate will have amazing content and illustration skills and continue to build our community.


The Rockstar will work directly with the Marketing Team and Co-Founders to design, develop and execute on Care+Wear's social media strategy. They will maintain and manage all social channels; going beyond just creating and posting but rather taking a brand-centric approach to content type, placement, cadence, copy & visual relevance (industry and user-centric), etc. To apply, please send a resume and a sample or links to sample posts you have done to jobs@careandwear.com.


Daily Responsibilities:

- Develop a social content strategy and calendar for each of our major social channels, including but not limited to Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest.
- Take charge of social media content day-to-day, including creating content, posting, active monitoring, responding to, and distribution of follower feedback.
- Build out comprehensive, accessible toolkit that goes into social posting feed: Imagery, Caption, Tags, Hashtags, Stories, Emoji use.
- Adhere to and applying Care+Wear’s existing content bucket strategy to ensure feed flow is aesthetically pleasing and maintains dynamic in subjects (i.e. Product Promo vs. Customer Spotlight).
- Apply audience level insights (e.g. time of day, curated hashtag buckets) to social media pushes and planning.
- Support Digital Marketing Manager in execution of additional pushes (e.g., Influencer posts, giveaways, partner posts, etc.).
- Expand social presence in building out our Facebook and Twitter owned channels; Pinterest and LinkedIn channels.
- Stay on top, and communicate internally, Social platform and industry trends, changes (i.e. New IG formats) and best practices.
Social monitoring of UGC and brand promotion (i.e. use of #careandwear hashtag)
- Competitive analysis of both social marketing strategy and creative assets generates by our competitors; make recommendations for changes to our strategy and campaigns (e.g., social contests, content, etc.).
