Partnerships Director:

CapSource is seeking an experienced Partnerships Director with extensive knowledge of the higher education and education technology markets. CapSource is an early stage education technology startup with a significant customer base of 40+ universities around the globe. The focus of our marketplace model is to help universities integrate real companies into the education process at scale in order to better prepare students for the professional work environment before they graduate. In order to take this business to the next level, we need a full-time Partnerships Director focused on scaling the Academic Partnerships side of the business. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success selling EdTech, developing and managing teams, and should work well in a fast-paced environment, has a high energy level, and is driven to achieve Partnerships goals and metrics.


Develop and champion a holistic Sales Strategy by assessing and recommending changes to the existing Partnerships structure
Maintain an up to date CRM of our customer pipeline and implementation
Develop and maintain expertise on the portfolio of products and services
Manage and maintain development of Partnerships training materials on new member onboarding
Maintain an understanding of university and industry trends
Build concrete relationships with universities
Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities and follow up on territory management
Manage the Partnerships teams and set weekly KPIs
Provide timely and accurate updates and reports of our current pipeline
Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of recent experience in the education market
Proven knowledge of the education sector and relationships with university leadership
Experience with a CRM and maintaining data within pipelines
Excellent verbal and written presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous remote work experience
Ability to be flexible and adapt in a fast paced environment
