CapSource is searching for a Public Relations Manager that is interested in helping us change the world of higher education using the power of experiential learning and industry collaboration.

CapSource maintains a significant customer base of 150+ universities and 500+ industry partners around the globe, having served over 10,000 students. The focus of our model is to help universities integrate real companies into the education process through mentoring and project-based collaborations in order to better prepare students for the professional work environment upon graduation. CapSource makes this all possible through the use of their custom built "Experiential Learning - and Hiring - Management System," which is made available to customers through LITE and Enterprise versions.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
CapSource is looking for a skillful and dedicated writer to join our growing team! We are looking for candidates who can efficiently produce high-quality written materials for a range of purposes including PR, blog articles, and social media. As CapSource is a startup with potential for exponential growth, we are looking for a team member that is flexible, excited to collaborate, and able to effectively communicate the value of CapSource’s products. During this part time job, you will develop a strong, meaningful network, participate in weekly strategy meetings, take part in fun team building events, and challenge yourself to go beyond your comfort zone.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing the entire process from ideation to drafting to finalization for blog posts, PR releases, and other forms of written content
- Forming connections with media contacts and relevant, reputable news outlets to expand the CapSource brand to relevant audiences
- Completing necessary market research about topics in education, technology and business related to CapSource
- Creating press releases to advertise major events and product developments
- Collaborating with all teams within the organization (primarily Marketing) to create content that builds brand awareness
- Communicate requirements (testimonials, product specifications, visuals) needed from Marketing & other departments to supplement writing
- Developing messaging for email campaigns and marketing copy on a project-by-project basis
