What you’ll do

- Build core products and features that allow users to take complete control of their financial lives on one platform.
- Scale these apps and products to new user types and capabilities.
- Critically evaluate our experiences with a mind to automating and increasing efficiencies of manual workflows. We need people willing to iterate and experiment relentlessly, with an irrationally high standard for product quality without sacrificing our ability to ship code
- Write tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end), and constantly seek to improve code quality.
- Communicate clearly and directly with designers, product managers, and operations, both in the office and remotely.

About you

- You have a mastery of Javascript. You understand the tradeoffs associated with object-oriented and functional techniques. You demand high-quality code of yourself and others.
- We use React/Redux, but we are serious about choosing the best technology for the task at hand. Were interested in products you built with React/Redux, Aurelia, Vue, or Angular.
- Pragmatism rules the day. Yes you love tools, technologies, and frameworks, but you understand the priority is solving the problem staring you in the face.
- You’re passionate about shipping new features and releases rapidly, and find inspiration in real user behavior. Your colleagues describe you the one with a knack for finding and eliminating inefficiency in your users’ workflows.
- You’re enthusiastic about unit testing and performance, and knowing how to communicate the value of technical excellence to non-technical people.
- People tell you you have eye for design, instincts for creating stunning, intuitive user interfaces.
- You’re a great listener, but have the willingness to speak up when you see something that needs to be fixed. You ask questions when something isn’t clear.

- Experience with server-side javascript (e.g. Express, Pug/Jade)
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g. Sass, Less, Postcss)
- Enthusiasm for automated testing(e.g. Jest, Mocha, Chai)
- Experience creating data visualizations (e.g. with D3, Highcharts)
- Ability to configure and optimize build systems (e.g. Webpack, Yarn, NPM).
- Drive to optimize continuous deployment process (e.g. CircleCI, Jenkins, Travis).
- Passion for design and user experiences, bonus points if you have design skills (e.g. Sketch, Figma)
