We are disrupting the power utility industry by providing automation for inspection and maintenance operations for infrastructure, using our AI-powered software platform, and are a venture backed and funded startup looking for great talent to share our vision of energy industry transformation.
Buzz Solutions works with visual data for power lines and identifies the faults as well as does predictive analytics on the lines and critical energy infrastructure.
Leverage your personal network of Utilities relationships to secure executive-level introduction meetings to generate new business
Research new companies and contacts, map/segment US and Canada utilities marketplace, and manage and grow contacts
Work on sales leads across North American utilities
Work with utilities practice leaders and utilities consultant teams to expand the practice offerings and prospect targets
Continually scan the marketplace for pending RFPs/RFIs at utility clients
Lead Origination, Conversion, Pursuit and Close
Manage “working the funnel” of your leads and opportunities to move them through from origination to close
Collaborate and drive pursuit team and advise on strategy, positioning and messaging of introductory meetings, proposals and closing efforts
Identify and develop unique, industry-specific alliance partners that can drive leads for Buzz Solutions
Team closely with Buzz's team to develop new client case studies/project summaries and execute outbound marketing campaigns
Masters degree, PhD degree, MBA degree or equivalent experience required
Strong U.S. energy industry contacts are required (experience and relationships with electric utility companies are highly desired)
Demonstrable knowledge of the issues and technical solutions in the Energy & Utilities Practice
3-5 years or greater of experience working, representing and selling software solutions to power utilities and energy sector
Knowledge of the latest trends in the electric utilities industry and solid grounding in business concepts and dynamics
Ability to travel on short notice
Ability to work remotely
Able to work independently and as a team player in coordinating and driving sales processes
