Manager, Conversion Rate Optimization

We’re on the hunt for a CRO Manager who will be responsible for driving and scaling conversion rate optimization strategies on all platforms, including the website and the app. This Manager will identify onsite optimization opportunities and turn them into actionable, hypothesis and data driven testing roadmaps to improve the conversion rate.

On a day to day basis, you will be:

Leverage data driven insights and best practices in online shopping to build clear, actionable hypothesis
Collaborate with the front-end, product, and design teams to develop and perfect a coherent testing approach and execute tests while ensuring statistical significance
Drive learnings from tests to shape further A/B testing/multivariate plans to impact conversion rate, and improve metrics such as time spent on app, pageviews per user, etc.
Work with user acquisition experts to improve landing page experiences and to develop, test and execute best practices regarding landing page experiences and optimization
Ensure qualitative and quantitative visibility by establishing required reporting structure and dispatching timely updates on daily, weekly, and monthly activities

On a strategic level, you will be responsible for:

Designing and running experiments on all platforms, from campaign landing pages to the checkout flow (with a specific focus on optimizing the latter)
Adopting an iterative approach to conversion rate optimization, continuously utilizing data from existing tests as input and driving new tests and hypotheses
Ensuring a strategy roadmap that will include a testing plan to improve traffic performance from the top of the funnel (landing pages) to the bottom of the funnel (check-out)
Optimizing for personalization and localization by leveraging audience micro-segmentation tools, such as recommendation engines, FOMO, social proofing, rewards, and on-site sliders to improve customer experience
Developing a culture of iterative research on industry best practices, and continuously testing and optimizing by driving a data driven, testing-focused approach
Developing a competency in and on all UX/UI initiatives to engage and convert traffic onsite

Required Skills

Ability to formulate a long term growth vision and strategy for the team and the company, but is hands-on when required
Experience managing multiple stakeholders and thriving under changing circumstances
Previous experience in a product relevant role with a demonstrated history of thoughtful, user-focused approach to improve user experience
Critical eye for design and aesthetics, and the ability to develop and explain design rationale to stakeholders
Ability to transform hypotheses into a comprehensive user experience flow
Data-driven thinker and problem solver
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with senior marketing leaders and C-level executives
Must be well versed in tools, such as Optimizely, Adobe Target, Google Optimize, VWO, Dynamic Yield or any other tool of equal repute
Hands-on experience working with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel), tag management, data analysis and excel

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, or similar preferred
4 to 6+ years of experience in conversion rate optimization of websites, landing pages, in-app purchase flows and marketing campaigns, preferably within a direct-to-consumer business
