The CRM & Retention Manager will be responsible for owning lifecycle management for all Browze customers: driving leads to first purchase and subsequently retaining first-time buyers in a loyalty loop. The candidate will champion a robust analytics/reporting practice in the company to drive lifetime value (LTV) via email and app campaigns.

What you’ll do:

Create, implement, and execute a customer lifecycle plan to engage customers throughout their buying journey, thereby increasing purchase frequency and AOV via digital channels
Plan, launch, and optimize all email/app marketing campaigns and automated programs focusing on customer retention; including design templates, calls-to-action, and content
Manage customer segmentation based on relevant levers such as behavior, value, engagement history, etc.

Develop an engaging campaign calendar for CRM and regularly monitor response fatigue/list decay to take corrective actions
Create an A/B roadmap to systematically grow LTV
Build, implement, and execute broad-based loyalty/rewards/retention program
Partner with cross-functional teams as required (User Acquisition, Design/UX, Tech) to ensure business alignment and consistency in brand guidelines
Accountable for retention analysis including: reporting, performance against plan and objectives, advanced segmentation, lifecycle, channel key performance metrics, funnel analysis, and driving insight and action from analysis


Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, or similar preferred
Minimum 3+ years as a retention marketing professional with direct-to-consumer campaign experience on email and app
Demonstrated experience with lifecycle management; eCommerce experience preferred
In-platform expertise with relevant CRM/data platforms and attribution tools e.g. Braze (Appboy), Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, or similar
A do-er with an analytical mindset and a rigorous approach to testing/learning
Ability to drive projects independently
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Dedicated to continuous improvement in every task you take on
An entrepreneurial mindset and a roll-up-the-sleeves work ethic: must be comfortable with ambiguity and rapid rates of change
Desired skills, but not mandatory: SQL, HTML
