Job Overview
Branch is looking for a passionate and self-driven People Operations Generalist who loves contributing to multiple pillars of People Operations, excels at building and improving processes, and wants to make an impact on the employee experience. In this role you will be a key player in supporting HR programs and initiatives that will help Branch continue to build a world-class team and employee experience across the globe.

An aptitude for managing cross-functional relationships, communicating with precision, developing trust and leading with integrity are critical to success, as is the ability to navigate multiple priorities with attention to detail and a service-oriented approach. This individual will be part of a core team supporting culture and people practices at Branch. This role is based in San Francisco and will report to Branch’s Head of People Operations.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a culture champion for Branch, including designing and implementing employee engagement initiatives, building talent development strategies and elevating Branch’s values across all of our global offices
- Research and deploy tools and processes for scale, including those for critical employee documentation and performance management
- Manage payroll and benefits administration for the San Francisco office
- Collaborate with managers and the global People Operations team to improve the performance management lifecycle, including driving the annual performance review process
- Partner with the Leadership Team on compensation planning, including managing performance increases and helping scale our compensation model
- Organize and execute trainings for employees to ensure compliance with regional regulations, such as anti-harassment and employee safety
- Support the roll-out and evolution of Branch’s Learning & Development program

Qualifications
- 4-6+ years of experience in 2 or more of the following areas: Human Resources, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent Development
- Excellent verbal and written communicator
- Highly organized and attentive to detail
- Collaborative, inquisitive and eager to work with global teams
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience working in a quickly-growing startup a plus
