We're looking for a junior DevOps engineer to join our small team pioneering the payment space by leveraging the latest technologies and stack such as GraphQL and Prisma. We are a team of passionate entrepreneurs and engineers looking to make a long-lasting impact by developing a product that will make international payments simpler.

We’re looking for someone with a minimum 1 year of industry experience as DevOps or backend engineer who can manage our operations, and develop our GraphQL API. You will be a high paced environment where you will need to learn quickly, adapt and problem solve.

Most important of all, you need to be a self-starter. You must want to learn and be a passionate engineer and are willing to join a great team to help drive our mission to enable cheaper and faster payments through design, testing, and development.

This position is part-time and if you are the right fit, it can grow to a full-time position.

- Maintain and develop our operations on AWS.
- Maintain high performing codebase, complete automated tests
- Integrate our backend API with third party APIs
- Architecture and estimating new features and functionality
- Build, and maintain different environments with Docker
- Implementation of security and data protection.

Strong proficiency in:
- AWS, Docker
- Git
- Continuous integration
- PostgreSQL or another SQL database
- Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js and frameworks like Express
- Proficiency in GraphQL (Apollo, Prisma)
- Designing and developing robust APIs.
- Babel/webpack
- Redis
- Webhooks (Rabbit messaging)

- Have encryption/ security knowledge (AES 256)
- Developed or worked on an API
