Do you want to impact the lives of nearly all Americans by eliminating the errand of going to the gas station? Booster has redesigned the infrastructure required to deliver gas to consumers and replaced the gas station with a mobile delivery truck. Park, push a button, and get fuel delivered while you’re away, all for less than self-service gas station prices.

We are looking for a Director of People Operations to help attract top talent to Booster’s team and to make Booster an amazing place where people want to work. You will be critical to help us scale our rapidly growing company and make a lasting impression on our culture. You will be a champion for our employees, working with the Executive Team to help them build, reward, and retain their teams. In this role, we are looking for a leader in HR programs and services including Compensation, Employee Relations, Recruitment, Benefits, Payroll, Organizational Development and Training, and Human Resource policy development.

Successful candidates will be entrepreneurial, discontent with the status-quo and obsessed with improving anything they touch. You will work directly with our Co-Founders and Executive Team.

Role Responsibilities:
• Hands-on experience in assessing, implementing, and managing HR systems
• Develop, implement and manage sourcing strategies and systems to ensure efficient recruiting, hiring and onboarding of highly-qualified employees
• Scale our HR processes as we 2-3x our headcount across multiple locations over the next 12 months
• Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations in all locations in which Booster operates
• Monitor the company’s cultural environment and proactively address issues

Qualifications and Requirements:
• 5+ years of HR/People Operations related experience within high-growth technology startups
• Self-starter, entrepreneurial spirit
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
• Strong startup experience and startup-level interpersonal skills
• Successful track record in implementing recruiting strategies in a growing organization
• Strong understanding of compensation, benefits, organizational development, and employee relations
• Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to design and implement people strategy that drives business results
• Proven ability to influence and drive change with executive teams
• The position will be based out of Booster’s Burlingame headquarters.
