Senior Dev-Ops Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team to help maintain, design, and implement cloud-based DevOps infrastructure. We are looking for someone that has experience building and scaling DevOps solutions with a passion for stability, efficiency and security in mind.

Job Responsibilities
• Work closely with the development team to implement/plan application deployments, software upgrades, security patches, general system maintenance
• Work cross functional with different teams, including development, support, operations and sales
• Troubleshoot any deployment issues and implement additional monitoring tools
• Works closely with Developers, Project Managers, Product Owners, and Quality Assurance members
• Create and Maintain technical documentation related to deployments
• Setup CI/CD tools to automate deployment processes
• Work in agile environment based on sprints
• Create new cloud-based instances, set-up backup processes, and perform disaster recovery
• Maintain infrastructure uptime in accordance with our SLA
Requirements
• 5+ years of industry experience in software development, system administration and DevOps
• Strong knowledge of AWS suite of tools including CloudFront, EC2, EBS etc
• CI/CD tools and test automation
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code with TerraForm or CloudFormation
• Experience with virtual environments such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Extensive experience with languages and tools such as Powershell, Bash and Python
• Configure web servers including Nginx, message queuing systems (Redis, Kafka)
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL, MongoDB)
• Bachelor or Masters in engineering/computer science or equivalent
