BlueCat seeks a driven, results-oriented Technical Software Manager who, along with being a phenomenal leader, is a strong developer who still enjoys pushing code into production.
Responsibilities:-Contribute to the development and design of BlueCat’s solutions in an agile team environment-Hands on contribution to the code base (yes, you will be programming )-Accountable for the productivity of the teams and responsible for their effectiveness through encouraging areas for growth and recommending training-Goal setting, continuously improving performance-Responsible for all aspects of the employee life-cycle at BlueCat-Responsible for quality, reliability and scalability of the teams’ deliverables-Drive the BlueCat culture within the teams, cultivating an environment of high morale and engaged employees-Define and refine software development processes and practices while collaborating with peers-Responsible for full cycle recruitment for your team
Skills and Experiences Required:-1+ years of experience leading a software development team in an Agile environment- 5+ years of solid commercial software development experience- Fluent in at least one language & happy working in one or all of Java, C and C++- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.· Real passion for people, performance improvement and team building·Strong leadership skills· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Significant development experience with large enterprise solutions· Experience in a customer facing environment
