GNC engineer

We are looking for an experienced GNC engineer to work on our Vision Based Navigation (VBN) system for small satellites to enable a new level of autonomous in orbit operations. Remote opportunity !

Requirements:

• +5 years of experience working on GNC systems for orbital satellite missions with particular focus on vision based navigation systems.
• Defining, initiating and managing R&D activities covering both long and short-term needs and addressing mission-enabling GNC system concepts.
• Mathematical modelling, uncertainty modelling, multi-physics simulation of complex spacecraft dynamics, advanced guidance, control, estimation and optimisation techniques
• Good knoweldge and familiarity with tools used for validation&verification of GNC systems
• Working knowledge of classic as well as robust control and filtering techniques

Bonus:

• Previous academic study or work experience with space missions that used relative navigation such as PRISMA, AeroCube or NANOACE
• Experience with deep learning development and application techniques
