Sales Development Representative

Bison is looking to hire an entry-level sales representative to join our tight knit but fast-growing sales team. You will be working to convert leads into opportunities and build out our sales pipeline.
Headquartered in Boston, Bison is working to disrupt the world of private equity with cutting edge technology. Our core solution, Cobalt (cobaltgp.com) serves the needs of the industry’s leading private equity firms and investors.

Here’s what you’ll do:
• Work with a welcoming, highly motivated, and growing sales team to drive meaningful results
• Develop a deep understanding of the company’s solutions and products, closely follow industry trends, and build key prospect relationships
• Use our CRM and marketing results to identify the contacts and firms most engaged with our offerings
• Engage directly with prospects to qualify their needs including understanding the prospects current systems, workflows, internal teams, and how it relates to our offerings
• Assist team members with key deliverables throughout the entire sales process
• Drive attendance and conduct follow-ups for all events Bison attends or sponsors or produces (e.g. conferences, webinars)
• Provide accurate weekly forecasts on pipeline and new prospects
• Gain valuable sales development experience while growing your professional network

• Ability to take direction, execute, and provide constructive feedback based on results
• Strong time management skills and high level of organization
• Excellent emotional intelligence, active listening skills, and verbal communication
• Possess excellent oral and written communications, including the ability to effectively present information to top management and executives (internally and externally) as required
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and make decisions with minimal supervision
• Experience with cold calling is a plus
• Availability to work full-time, on-site in our Boston office
