Job Summary

We are looking for a fantastic Product Manager to be responsible for driving product strategy and customer acquisition as well as informing product iterations. The successful candidate has a track record for successfully introducing new products to the market and obtaining customer POs. Acting as an internal subject-matter expert in Product Management, you will be working closely with colleagues in R&D, Business Development, and Operations.
This is a full-time on-site position in Menlo Park, California. We accept domestic applicants.

NOTE: This is not a position for software tech or services. The industry is performance polymers (i.e. for 3D printing).

Use market data, competitive analysis and understanding of customer needs to define market winning product requirements
Deliver MRD and PRD with prioritized product attributes and justification
Develop go-to-market strategy for new polymer products
Obtain customer feedback and communicate evidence-based, data-driven insights to the R&D team to guide product iterations
Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
Deliver successful product launches
Steer and drive product marketing, communications, and sales strategies (eventually with support from the PR team and Sales team)
Define the product roadmap for target market and adjacent markets
Lead and facilitate meetings with externals (potential customers and partners) to advance the company
Manage junior business development team members, including coaching, planning, and performance review

Minimum of 3 years experience as a B2B Product Manager or Technical Sales Manager in the polymer materials and/or 3D-printing spaces
Demonstrate success launching new products
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Track record for building B2B business relationships
Technical understanding of performance polymers
Excellent teamwork skills
Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional teams
Must be able to travel 20% of the time
Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
