Skinny: Someone to drive the SEO strategy of the business in order to really take us to the next level when it comes to natural search.

We're looking for someone who is fully up to date with the world of SEO and knows what it takes to get into the top positions on highly competitive search terms. This includes a broad knowledge of both on-site SEO as well as off-site link building. You’ll be expected to dictate the direction of our efforts on both fronts, working closely with our product team, our content writers and our SEO agency. As we’re a startup, you’ll also be expected to pitch in wherever needed helping out other teams and doing whatever is necessary to help us achieve our goals.

Who are we looking for:
You’ll be an experienced SEO manager with a history of achieving amazing results either within an agency or client side. This role comes with a certain degree of autonomy - we’re looking for someone to set the direction and work with the relevant teams to make sure we get there. So you’ll need good communication and leadership skills.
Experience managing third parties whether that be agencies or freelancers would also be a plus.

In short, we’re looking for someone who has a deep understanding of what it takes to get results from SEO and is extremely familiar with the different factors and how they work together.

About this role:
This role will:
● Own and manage the SEO strategy for the business;
● Build our inbound link profile using a variety of methods;
● Work closely with our product team and SEO agency to ensure that we’re moving in the right direction;
● Use Wordpress as well as our own internal CMS to support the SEO strategy from a content perspective;
● Use tools such as Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs and Moz to ensure we’re concentrating our efforts in the right way;
● Contribute to PR campaigns both in terms of idea creation as well as execution;
● Manage freelance copywriters to ensure the content they create is of the highest standard as well as being as effective as it can be from an SEO perspective;
● Always consider the user experience and ways in which we might be able to improve how people interact with our site.

○ Project management with demonstrated experience in delivering in a fast-paced evolving environment.
