The Role:

The Sr. Designer reports to the Design Director and collaborates and works with a team of designers and production specialists. As we scale our business, we are seeking a creative, hands-on and self-motivated Sr Designer, with a strong digital marketing background - We are looking for a digital design “rock star” who demonstrates a mix of both creative and technical skills.

Day-to-day, you’ll play an essential role in the design, development, and conception of beautiful web experiences, print products, and collateral, social/advertising campaigns, design systems and event graphics for some of the most well-known and respected brands. This role requires an ability to work quickly but also remain extremely detail-oriented and make use of both web and print design best practices. Strong typography and layout skills, strict attention to detail, and outstanding organizational, project management, file organization, and archiving skills are also required. You are the master of guidelines and grid system and best friends with layer comps and paragraph styles. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for delivering elegant work that demonstrates meaningful results for our clients.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• BFA in Graphic Design or related four-year degree preferred
• 5+ years of professional experience as a designer
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite applications: InDesign (applying and creating styles), Photoshop and Illustrator
• Mastery at Sketch and working knowledge of prototyping tools (InVision, UXPin etc)
• Mastery in Microsoft Powerpoint template design (themes and master slides)
• Excels in a fast-paced startup environment handling multiple projects at once.
• Diverse portfolio of work that demonstrates expertise across graphic and digital design, typography, composition and iconography
• Experience in designing integrated digital marketing creative across multiple touchpoints
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Fluent in English
• Must be able to legally work in Mexico

You Will:

• Have lots of ideas and excel at creative conceptualizing and brainstorming
• Design collateral, infographics, ads, brand assets, templates and a wide range of print materials from start to finish
• Design and help develop responsive websites, landing pages, in-page elements, newsletters, and email templates and more
• Design Powerpoint presentations and templates
• Create designs for clients that adhere to and/or extend their existing style guide
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team that includes project managers, editors, marketing managers, design directors, and developers etc
• Work closely with project management team to ensure deadlines and requirements are met
• Work closely with development team to ensure that the developed experience reflects what you designed.
• Self-manage time, multitask and prioritize deadlines
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise with both the creative team and the copywriters
