Every day, scientists around the world use Benchling in their efforts to solve humanity's most pressing problems. For these scientists, Benchling is the central technology they use to conduct their research.

Benchling was founded by a team of MIT graduates and has raised funding from Benchmark, Andreessen Horowitz, Thrive Capital, and Y Combinator. Our customers include pharmaceutical giants, leading biotechs, and the world's most renowned research institutes.

We are looking for a creative, numbers-driven Digital & Growth Marketing professional who can build and execute a strong digital strategy to generate leads and awareness for Benchling within the R&D community.



* Own the digital marketing strategy, budget, and planning
* Execute all digital marketing campaigns in-house or through 3rd-party vendors
* Optimize Benchling's website, landing pages, and blog to improve organic traffic
* Manage SEM, online advertising, and retargeting
* Expand Benchling's digital marketing channels, including content syndication and other advertising channels
* Design effective campaign landing pages and improve conversion rates
* Perform A/B testing on website and marketing campaigns
* Run and coordinate the email marketing program
* Execute day-to-day social media engagement and grow Benchling's social media followers
* Monitor, analyze and report on the impact, engagement, reach and traffic metrics for Benchling's digital campaigns, content, blog and social media efforts


* 2-4 years experience and proven success in digital marketing
* Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, LinkedIn and Facebook advertising, retargeting, and A/B testing
* Deep understanding of digital marketing metrics and analytics
* Strong numbers orientation with an aptitude for experimentation and constant improvement of marketing campaigns
* Creative in crafting digital campaigns and written communications
* Familiarity with Wordpress, HTML, and CSS
* Experience in B2B enterprise software, a preference
* Knowledge of Salesforce and marketing tools
* Experience in social media, a plus
* Self-starter with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
* Strong attention to detail
* BA or BS in Biology, life sciences, or related field, a bonus but not a requirement
