Role

Are you an experienced technology business developer or sales manager, looking to make a larger impact on larger global deals? Are you a driven individual with an exceptionally positive attitude and enthusiasm for everything you put your mind to? Do you have a track record of revenue generation and pipeline conversion?

We're looking for a Business Development Professional, preferably with an Agency, SaaS or Tech Startup background who is positive and highly organised with excellent sales and communication skills.

You will be responsible for proactively developing new client relationships and securing additional business opportunities from both new and existing clients. Your role will be a focal point for new business and business development activities. An individual with a track record in a multi-channel sales and marketing role and environment will succeed in this role. You will be pivotal in shaping processes and procedures, so we can continue to grow our client base without compromising client experience.

Responsibilities

Lead Generation - research and contact potential clients to establish rapport and educate them on the product & services and be an initial point of contact in new sales and lead nurturing: from email, calls to meetings and presentations
Manage a multi channel growth strategy from the digital/social and traditional sales arenas through to inbound and outbound marketing initiatives
Manage and own the pipeline from prospecting all the way through to close, collaborating closely with the Client Success team and management
Inform clients of new developments and maximise business potential from each client relationship
Identify growth opportunities using data and creative strategy
Work directly with Clients to fully comprehend their requirements and offer our solutions accordingly
Work with marketing executives on holistic growth and sales initiatives
Able to distil incoming enquiries and provide regular succinct feedback to our developers and management for follow up and action
Work closely with our technical team to ensure the product meets client needs and requirements
Prepare sales contracts & invoices
Own your role, have initiative and tenacity, be creative, be innovative and provide insights to the rest of the team

Skills

Prior experience in a business development, sales or client facing role, preferably with Agency, SaaS or Tech Startup background (2-4 years)
Demonstrable record of sales / business development in a B2B environment
Consultative and/or creative sales experience
Experience and/or understanding of project management. Including working with product and technical teams
Experience and/or understanding of working with/in start ups or fast paced environments
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
Self evident negotiation skills
Understanding of enterprise software and/or B2B technology
A collection of evident soft skills (problem solving, strategic thinking, adaptability, planning, time management, creativity, resilient, detailed and creative etc)
Evidence of building effective relationships with clients, partners and individuals of relevance
Highly organised, autonomous self starter with ability to prioritise and multitask
Ability to problem solve and bring timely resolution to issues
Skilled in computer software, ability to use Keynote preferred

Nice to Haves

Keen understanding of the technology sector, able to articulate complex technological concepts simply.
Direct experience in enterprise sales and senior stakeholder management
Dealt with big businesses and understand at high level the B2B client and sales methodologies
Evidence of financial and budgetary planning
Proof you have strived, surpassed expectation and over delivered in previous roles
