As a new Head of Sales EMEA, you are responsible for revenue growth in the EMEA market. You will be a key member of our sales team and responsible for growing Beekeeper’s EMEA sales organization, selling Beekeeper’s disruptive Employee Communication Platform directly to mid and large-sized enterprise customers in the retail, hospitality and manufacturing industries. You are a very hands-on, entrepreneurial and high-performing sales leader with a passion for mobile software technology, who has successfully built and grown sales organizations from SaaS B2B software technology. You are comfortable carrying your own (and you teams’s) quota, you understand how to build and coach a successful team, sell consultatively through solution selling, compress decision cycles and move deals forward to fruition.

Your Responsibilities

* Lead, inspire and develop a highly motivated sales team across EMEA, including hiring, coaching, mentoring, professional development, and retention. Lead by example to cultivate and maintain Beekeeper culture and best practices within the team
* Provide coaching and counsel to the sales team to build capabilities and a winning mentality.  Strive to positively influence cost of acquisition, resulting in improved efficiencies.
* Own forecasting, territory mapping and go-to-market strategy to successfully achieve revenue goals in terms of new business and expansion
* Work closely with Beekeeper’s Chief Customer Officer to define, refine and execute sales growth strategy, drive new business and grow sales team across the EMEA.
* Develop and actively manage a strategic sales plan to build a high-volume pipeline and exceed revenue and customer acquisition goals.
* Identify and prioritize qualified target accounts, prospect within target accounts and relevant inbound inquiries, build deep consultative relationships and close deals directly with Director to C-level executive stakeholders within those organizations.
* Uncover business needs and key challenges of prospects, establish a vision of solution and value justification and help prospects achieve benefits through relevant offerings.
* Educate prospects on the benefits of Beekeeper’s mobile technology and app solutions through client presentations, conference attendance and solicitation of RFI/RFPs.
* Define, track and improve operational metrics for effective sales process (e.g. Cost of Acquisition) together with Global Sales and Customer Operations
* Localize, ensure adherence and suggest improvements to sales processes
* Lead change management process for key sales and marketing initiatives, including providing input, assessing the risks and opportunities, and influencing across the organization. Drive internal awareness of customer strategies and initiatives.
* Collaborate with Beekeeper’s marketing team and operations to achieve overall company goals for the sales team and including but not limited to; client use cases and testimonials, events, collateral and proposal generation.
* Feed “Product Intelligence” and “Prospect Intelligence” to the product, engineering and customer success teams

Skills and Experience

* Track record with SaaS organizations in B2B sales with high growth year over year
* 10+ years of professional experience in sales, including work across multiple sales portfolios, inside and outside sales positions, and business development roles.  
* 7+ years of management/supervisory experience is preferred.
* Fluent in German and English. Other European languages are a plus
* Proven ability to drive the organization to the next level of achievement with a strong sense of urgency and continuous improvement focus. 
* Proven ability to synthesize significant analytical data points and develop strategic, customized solutions.
* Well-developed understanding and proven success with key industries including but not limited to; retail, hospitality, and manufacturing.
* Relevant channel experience is critical for success in order to develop win-win strategies and partner effectively with key customers.
* Experience working with international environment
* Personable, charismatic, creative and analytical sales leader with a passion for software technology and a desire to aggressively grow business in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
* Ability to call directly on C-level/VPs/Directors of top names in relevant industries, build trust and deep relationships and close business via phone/teleconferences.
* Ability to analyze and enhance best practices, processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of customer facing teams focusing on customer needs
* Ability to translate business strategy into tactical operating plans
* Excellent communications skills, both in written and verbal communications, with the ability to deliver effective group presentations, group facilitation and one-on-one consultation 
* Ability to effectively communicate, overcome objections and influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of management
* Proven effectiveness with difficult customer situations and expectation management
* Exceptional time management skills that allow you to proactively identify and handle multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
* Excellent organization and project management capability
* Experience working with fast-growing startup companies, leading from the front and building sales teams from scratch
