**Job Overview: **


The Sales & Marketing Operations Specialist will play a key role in sales and marketing operations in EMEA so that it attains world-class performance. This will include the development of analytics & reporting to provide insights and trends that will inform data-driven sales & marketing and lead to outstanding performance. He/she will also use those insights to help managers in the EMEA business make informed decisions about our marketing & business strategies.


This position reports to the Senior Director of EMEA Operations & Strategy. The successful candidate will work with the Sales & Marketing Operations teams in EMEA and North America and will be a curious, self-disciplined professional, with an eye for the bigger picture allied to excellent attention to detail. He/she will be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, be remorseless in drilling down to establish root causes and be able to balance and prioritize multiple tasks & projects.

**Core Responsibilities:**

·       **Insights & Analytics:** Perform analysis of key trends in the business and extract insights from data to help our Sales & Marketing teams make the best decisions about programmes and investments

·       **Return on Investment:** Execution of robust return on investment analyses on past performance, which in turn can be used to inform future investment decisions

·       **Operations Project Work** : Participate in cross functional projects to support growing/changing business needs

·       **Reporting:** Creation & updating of reports and dashboards used across the all members of the Marketing and Sales teams. Track and report the marketing funnel including volume, value, velocity, stage conversion & win rates.

·       **Tools & Technology:** Be a resident expert on our reporting and process as it relates to our marketing & sales tools, technologies, and analytics capabilities - making recommendations, and training users of all levels as needed.

 Below is an overview of the things we are going to be looking for when we are assessing profiles for this role;

**Must have:**

     Excellent understanding and experience of reporting and analysis using Salesforce.com and a marketing automation tool (whether Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot or similar)

     Excellent working knowledge of Marketing and Sales Operations, especially in the area of performance measurement, probably gained from at least 3 years’ experience in marketing and/or sales operations

     An understanding of return on investment analysis and its value in analysing the past and planning for the future

     Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

**Should have:**

     Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

     Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with clarity & simplicity to team members of all levels

     Experience training audiences of varying technical backgrounds

     Strong interpersonal skills

     Initiative to take on tasks and drive work items under limited direction

**Nice to have:**

     Experience of working in a SaaS organisation

     Experience of working with multi-touch attribution

     Marketo and Salesforce.com certification

     Experience using business intelligence tools (such as Tableau)

     Experience with Gainsight and SQL (or similar database query tools)
