**Who We Want:**

Each month, Bazaarvoice sees more than 800 million people read reviews, questions and answers about millions of products through the Bazaarvoice network.  We have two open opportunities to make a meaningful difference in the quality and scope of information available to consumers making purchase decisions and brands and retailers serving them. You will be a key player in shaping how data can improve product, marketing, and merchandizing outcomes for our clients.


## What You’ll Be Doing:

- Creating and designing ways that the content and data in the Bazaarvoice network can be used to help our clients make better business decisions
- Discover and validate problems in the market that BV can uniquely solve through research and experimentation
- Map needs with target markets and corporate strategy and identify the market opportunities to actively pursue
- Develop business cases, including financial models, and secure executive approval for investment
- Determine the most effective and efficient ways to deliver whole solutions to an identified market problem, including buy, build, partner decisions
- Lead Product Discovery and Early Adopter Programs to ensure product success
- Partner with Marketing and Sales to perform competitive analysis, develop product positioning and messaging, and pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
- Recognize user issues/needs and work with UX & User Research to find solutions
- Provide clear direction regarding business requirements, market requirements, and user stories to your partners and teammates who rely on you to define plans for what to build and why
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to determine how well the product is performing in the market, how it impacts the company operations, and ultimately, how it contributes to profit
- Ensure that internal, cross-functional teams are prepared to support and drive adoption of new releases.
- 10-25% travel


## Who You Are:

- 5+ years’ experience in product management of tech products
- Proven ability to work with engineering to ship products
- Exhibit technical depth with good data analysis experience (ideally with consumer web products)
- Knowledge of Lean Product Management and Agile/Scrum Development methodologies
- Entrepreneurial spirit for building new capabilities/businesses within an existing organization
- Strong business acumen and an understanding of how your deliverables impact business outcomes for BV and for our clients
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to articulate insights as well as presentation skills for meeting facilitation
- Great problem solving with thoughtful approaches
- Strong attention to detail
- Data driven decision making
- Demonstrated ability to lead by influence, and work effectively in a cross-functional environment
- Drive to action and ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously


## Nice to Have:

- BA/BS in Computer Science or MBA with product management specialization
- Experience in digital marketing and/or e-commerce technologies
- Experience calculating the significance of an A|B test
- Ability to pinpoint the underlying factors contributing to a metric’s growth or decline
