**Job Overview:**

Based in Vilnius, the Bazaarvoice Finance organisation is looking for an accounting professional that has experience in overseeing accounting and statutory reporting responsibilities in multiple countries and has experience managing and supporting an accounting team. This role requires a great deal of communication with external accounting firms and the internal finance team headquartered in Austin, Texas.


**Job Responsibilities:**

·      Responsible for supervising and coordinating the statutory compliance of all non-US subsidiaries with external accounting firm and ensuring all filings are delivered by the due dates (payroll and corporate tax filings, GST/ VAT returns, statutory audits and accounts filings)

·      Manage, support and mentor the local Vilnius accounting team (accounts payable and general ledger accounting functions)

·      Monthly reporting of balance sheet and P&L by subsidiary and explanations of significant fluctuations from prior periods and other ad hoc reporting and analysis

·      Manage outsourced external accounting firm including management and negotiation of fees

·      Implement process improvements to generate scalability and cost reduction


**Candidate Requirements:**

**Essential:**

·      Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related discipline

·      Minimum of 8 years post-qualified experience and 4 years managerial experience

·      Solid knowledge of international regulations regarding statutory requirements covering audits, corporate tax filings, GST/ VAT, payroll taxes etc. with strong understanding of UK and Lithuania regulations (our largest non-US subsidiaries)

·      Experience managing and mentoring a team of accounting professionals

·      Experience working across multiple countries

·      Self-starter and very autonomous with strong attention to detail and organization

·      Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and resolve complex problems with minimal guidance

·      Proven dedication to teamwork, leadership, and integrity within a professional environment

·    Proficient in Microsoft Office

·      Excellent language skills in written and spoken English


**Desirable:**

·      Accounting certification – Lithuania equivalent of CPA, ACCA, CFA

·      Experience managing Accounts Payable function

·      Experienced at managing third party accounting providers

·      Experience in NetSuite accounting system and/or Coupa procurement system
