BacklotCars is currently seeking an Account Manager to join our fast paced sales team. We are an online marketplace for auto dealers and our platform is changing the way dealers buy/sell wholesale vehicles. This person will be responsible for buyer account development, retention and new client acquisition. This person would manage all buy side activities within their region and could also be responsible for driving new market launches. While we prefer someone with a background selling services to auto-dealerships, if you are an experienced phone sales superstar, please apply today.

What you'll do:
Customer/market prospecting and development of strategic, targeted sales campaigns.
Develop and maintain customer relationships.
Track daily, weekly, monthly call activity and performance measurements against goals and sales targets using CRM software.
Internal communication and teamwork with other buy-side managers, market general managers, and lead inspectors.
Understand the competition/market and have a keen awareness of changes and trends in the auto industry.

What you'll need:
Experience in sales development & account management, phone sales experience required
Proficient use of CRM software
Experience with selling to car dealerships and/or within the auto sales industry would be considered a definite asset
Experience working at a start-up is a plus, but not required
