The Avantpay Conference is the B2B conference for payments, banking, and compliance in the cannabis industry. We created this conference for the private sector and the government to work together to solve payments, banking, and compliance challenges in the cannabis industry. We are looking for an ambitious, results-driven sales / account manager to actively seek out and engage leaders, companies, and organizations in the payments, banking, compliance and cannabis industries and invite them to speak, sponsor, and attend our annual conferences.
- Drive revenue through sponsorships and attendee ticket sales
- Manage the entire sales process from identifying prospects to ensuring payments are collected
- Identify sponsors and attendees through making cold calls, email outreach, and site visits
- Establish and maintain a positive relationship with customers through timely communication and continual follow-up
- Identify and resolve issues/problems with customers
- Maintain an accurate CRM database and other means of communication
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual account goals to hit revenue targets
- Be able to learn and understand the niche positioning of the Avantpay Conference as it relates to payments, banking, and compliance in the cannabis industry.
- Be entrepreneurial and able to adapt and learn
- Must have excellent soft skills (relationship building, evangelism, speaking, writing)
