We are seeking to hire a Business Development Associate within our team to lead our sales and investor development efforts. You should be ambitious, extremely proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic startup environment.

You will work alongside the founders to build up the sales function of a business that is disrupting the private equity, venture capital and hedge funds space. You will also be required to work across different functional areas such as technology, fund management and operations and will be encouraged to continuously innovate and optimise our offering.

You will be asked to demonstrate a track record of prior sales experience (1-6 years) within the financial services industry (ideally within private wealth, alternative investments, investment banking).

You should have the drive, desire and tenacity to network, build and develop long-term relationships with a range of family offices, high net worth individuals, institutional investors and investment/asset managers across the world.

We aim to compensate fairly based on performance, with a fixed element combined with attractive sales-based performance incentives and potentially equity in the business.

Role overview:

1. Leverage your deep understanding and strong relationships within your existing network of institutional investors, Family Offices, HNWI and private clients to introduce them to suitable investment opportunities through the AtomInvest platform

2. Extend our existing network of investors by identifying, evaluating and bringing on board suitable new institutional investors, Family Offices, HNW individuals and wealth managers. Develop a deep understanding of their investment position and preferences to be able to identify investment opportunities of interest

3. Share knowledge of areas of focus and investments sought by AtomInvest’s investor base with the team to help tailor the pipeline of future investments

4. Source and evaluate opportunities to invest into alternative investment funds which are in the market

5. Gain understanding of deals we have within the AtomInvest platform to be able to outline and discuss the deals with relevant investors.

6. Record all updates, intelligence and correspondence with investors on our CRM system

7. Assist in the product development of our back-end client technology systems to continuously optimise our investor sales/business development processes

Prior Experience

1. 1-6 years-experience (full time) working in the financial services space with asset management firms, major investment banks, private banks or family offices

2. Relevant knowledge and experience of investment types (funds, direct investments, co-investments) within the Investment/Financial Sectors, preferably Real Estate, Private Equity, Venture Capital and alternative investments

3. Have a well-established existing network of Family Offices/Private Wealth/Asset Manager contacts (especially within UK/Switz/EU/M.East)

4. Proven history of sales / business development / account management

5. Ability to source and actively engage with UHNWI, investment decision makers from Top Family Offices, Asset/Fund/Wealth Managers & Institutional Investors

6. Previous evidence of revenue-generating experience such as sales/ business development/account management

7. Candidates related to the following will be relevant
• Experience in Family Offices / IR with focus on Family Offices
• Family Office conferences/networks
• Wealth Managers
• Private Bankers
• Other access & relationship with Family Offices
• IR raising money for funds / Placement Agents
