Terminal is seeking a leader for our newly developed Member experience team. We are seeking someone who is creative, a strong leader and passionate about the future of work. This role will have a critical role in bringing Terminal’s long term vision to fruition. We have over 250 engineers across Canada and Mexico and looking to continue that growth. However, that growth can only happen if we live our values and deliver on our brand promise to give our members engagement in a strong technical community and in depth learning environment.
We are seeking a player/coach that can see the long term vision and understand how to build a foundation that will help us get there faster. This role will oversee our Member Experience Partners, Learning & Development team as well as Community.

This person can be based at one of our Terminal sites or remotely for the right candidate. This role will report to the Chief People Officer.

What You'll Do:
* Confidant and partner to the Chief People Officer to identify opportunities to drive the success of the business through the member experience
* Work across the business to deliver a strong plan for member retention & engagement
* Develop a strategy for value-added services in the form of training for our clients
* Manage the Member Experience Partners to ensure support and relevant coaching is being delivered to our Members
* Think outside the box and come up with unique talent strategies that can work in a distributed/remote environment
* Accountable for all programs developed inside the ME team including but limited to Onboarding, Loyalty Program, Mentor Programs & Learning Initiatives.
* Manage internal community initiatives
* Partner with Marketing on external community events
* Develop and manage ROI measurement of each key initiative

Who You Are:
* 10+ years of experience in Customer Success, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Community or related functions
* 5+ years as a leader of teams and ideally as a manager of managers
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
* Ability to understand a technical environment and the needs of the end user
* A builder at heart.
* Someone who can see potential and understand how to take something from idea to fruitionAble to package and present complex analyses and recommendations clearly
* Ability to travel approximately 20% of time
* Outstanding interpersonal, executive presence, and coaching skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
