atEvent is seeking a highly energetic, talented and competitive individual to help support the sales of atEvent’s industry leading universal event lead management solution for enterprise and mid-market companies. The Director of Sales should have successfully demonstrated the ability to manage a high-performance sales team and handle large volume of customer and prospect sales and service tasks. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, outstanding communications skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop creative approaches to customer sales challenges.

What You’ll Do:

Define, implement and enforce end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to post-sales handoff

Motivate individuals and team to exceed sales quotas through coaching, regular broadcast of results, and creative incentives

Hold sales reps accountable for defined sales performance plans

Drive team growth, revenue quota, organizational health and customer satisfaction

Perform regular pipeline reviews and accurately forecast sales pipeline with executive team

Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity

Collaborate with Marketing to create and implement lead generation activities

Work with Customer Success to ensure complete customer satisfaction and drive renewals

What You’ll Need:

Minimum 6+ years of direct sales experience in the software industry; start-up and SaaS experience preferred.

Minimum 3+ years of sales management experience

Bachelor's Degree

Consistent track record of measuring, achieving, and exceeding sales quota

Ability to identify strategic customer pain points and develop unique and compelling value propositions that focus on delivering business value to the client

Successful at engaging with all levels in an organization - comfortable with C-level executives

Outstanding communication, organizational and time management skills

Technical background with understanding of SaaS industry in general. Marketing automation and CRM industry background preferred

High level of proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Google Apps, and Salesforce.com or similar CRM system

Moderate amount of travel will be required per quarter to attend events and meet with customers
